379   1908 Franco-British Exhibition: photographs, taken by Henry Mobsby, of the Queensland Court at the 1908 Franco-British Exhibition, one titled 'Director and Staff, Pagoda Enquiry Office' the other showing flour and cotton displays (small repaired corner). [Mobsby had taken over as official artist and photographer for the Department of Agriculture in 1904 and remained in that position until his retirement in 1930.] (2)

Written when he was Leader of the Opposition, he became Prime Minister three years later and was knighted in 1911.
