One is a nice commercial envelope of Agence Central de Journaux to Bremen, two are to a Dr Ilse Peek in Potsdam, one from a Dr. W. Wrede, another from a Dr. W. Peek with printed address of 'DEUTSCHES/ARCHAELOGISCHES INSTITUT/ATHEN'. Range of frankings incl optd types. (4)

2588715  Greece (Apr 16) use of lightly stained ACF envelope inscribed 'Air Mail' addressed Pierre Gorman, Caulfield, Victoria (a Gorman signature appears alongside triangular censor handstamp - family correspondence?). 9d Platypus tied 'RAILHEAD/16AP41/R.M.1' cds. Roughly opened, damaged flap, rare. [Australian Forces began evacuation eight days later, on April 24]

3115769  1954 (Jul) EOKA uprising cover to Paphos (backstamp) with 1½pi KGVI Pictorial tied by 'LEMONIA/G.R./RURAL/SERVICE/CYPRUS' datestamp, used as a travel permit with signed endorsement on reverse "The holder of this document is permitted to depart from the colony w/o complying with the requirement of Section 3 of Law 2 of 1938." Rare survivor.
