On the back two strikes boxed chop of 'TADAYASU MAKI/NO.252 SHIMOMAIZU, NAGOYA, JAPAN', on the front the stamps cancelled three Japanese datestamps '5.5.27' alongside registration label of 'TSURUGA' strikes and light violet English language date stamp 'TSURUGA/29.5.?/JAPAN'. Arrival backstamp x2 'REGISTERED/20JU16/GREAT YARMOUTH'. Brittle, scarce to rare early Air Forces item. [Env inscribed "via Siberia".]
