3127434  1919 First England-Australia Flight (Nov 12) endorsed "Through kindness Sgt Bennett/by Aeroplane - Capt Ross Smith's" with lightly struck 'PER/VICKERS VIMY AEROPLANE/TO AUSTRALIA' cachet in violet, very fine example of the Ross Smith 'FIRST/AERIAL POST' vignette affixed and cancelled with central strike of 'FIRST AERIAL MAIL/RECEIVED/26FEB1920/GREAT BRITAIN TO AUSTRALIA' oval datestamp, with another largely fine strike at the left, horizontal fold and small blemishes at base. [This cover is #98 on the AAMC list and unusually addressed to Western Australia. Eustis states the only 40% of the covers received the three-line handstamp]
