Swedish Chamber of Commerce (Sydney) airmail cover to Sweden with 7d franking paying surface rate postage to GB and onward airmail fee (4d) from London to Sweden, censored in London with bold strike of Type II 'OAT' cachet applied, being the second earliest recorded date of usage of Type II cachet, some 3 months before Heifetz's ERD.

The cover travelled on PanAm FAM-19 (service recommenced on Dec 1) via Auckland, Suva, Canton Island & Hawaii, then to Baltimore via New York, then to London with BOAC via Bermuda, Azores & Lisbon, Type X 'OAT' cachet applied in London, then on to Geneva Switzerland by Swissair, then by train to Berne.

1315  1942 (Dec 8) airmail commercial cover to USA with 1r12a franking (on reverse) tied by Aden Camp datestamps, dual censored with Aden PC90 tape and 'PASSED CENSOR/BY/No 3/ADEN' diamond handstamp, also censored in London where Type II 'OAT' cachet (oval 53½x34½mm, square stops after letters increasing in size) in black applied, being the earliest known date of usage, some 3½ months before Heifetz's ERD.
