NEW SOUTH WALES - Postal History

826  1851 (Jan 22) use of boxed 'QUEENS WHARF' receiving office handstamp on face of entire to London, 4-margin 3d Sydney View (SG #41) cancelled with bars obliterator. A very rare cancel with very few examples recorded. Letter is from the ship owner discussing the state of maintenance. Illustrated in White's Postal History of NSW.
