Multi-colour franking of 2d & 4d Emblems and 6d Woodblock on cover leaving Melbourne 14th September 1857 on board The E & ARM steamer EMEU that struck the Guttal el Bunna reef, 120 miles off Jedda Arabia on 22nd October 1857. Mail eventually arrived in London on 30th November. Pence Houses cds ‘DE 7/1857’ on reverse.
