B.A.N.Z pictorial canceller of the Antarctic Research Exp. tying Australia KGV SM wmk p13½x12½ 2d red Die III to tidily addressed envelope to Hobart. Removable hinge remains on back, otherwise only very minor imperfections.

1892 Imperf Proofs

40c blue with control number and '1/5/92' date and 60c & 80c black without control numbers and dates. Cat €1180+ as mint stamps. Ex Ferrary. Very scarce.

1980 8f Year of the Monkey

SG #2968, Cat £1300. Small offset of black. One of modern philately's most popular (and difficult) thematic stamps.

1979 International Stamp Fair At Riccione

serial number 'J.41.(1-1)' SG #MS2874, Cat £1000. Very fresh, seriously scarce.

1867-83 High Values Wmk Maltese Cross

5/- rose Plate 1 [BI], SG #126, Cat £11,000, centred low, gum adhesion at top. Very rare.

1882 £5 Orange White Paper

[AC], SG #137, Cat £14,000, minor gum marks and light gum crease, lovely centring and perfs.

[BG] ovptd 'SPECIMEN' type 9, SG #137s, Cat £4,000 (£14,000 as normal), redistributed gum.

1860 1½d Rosy Mauve

[JL] on blued paper, unissued, optd 'SPECIMEN', SG #53as (£7,000 as normal). Some gum, few slightly short perfs, very scarce.

1913 KGV Seahorses Bradbury Wilkinson Printing

10/- steel blue, SG #417, (Spec N71(3) Cat £1,100), small thin at top. The rarest shade. Brandon certfificate.

1878 10/- Greenish Grey Wmk Maltese Cross

[GG] ovpted 'SPECIMEN' type 9, SG #128s, Cat £5,800 (plus MUH 100% premium - £60,000 as normal), quite off-centre.

1883 10/- Greenish Grey wmk Large Anchor

[CF] on white paper SG #135 (£7,000 with 75% centring premium), lightly soiled, very well centred.

1882 5/- Rose wmk Large Anchor

on white paper, plate 4 [GG], SG #134, Cat £4,800 for FU, small nick & a some soiling.

gutter block of 10, position [L22-24, 28-30, R19-20,25-26], unit 19 'Type B', unit 25 'Retouch at back of emu's head'. High retail value. BW #105f, Cat $1750.

1931 6d Airmail

on Via Airmail envelope (aeroplane illustration) tied on first day of issue by cds 'SOUTH MELBOURNE/4NO31/VIC'. Addressed Mr A. Watson, C/o Wallace Erickson, 739 E Cottage Street, St Paul, Minn U.S.A. Very scarce FDC BW #144y $700 (five years ago!).
