1078  1838 (Jun 26) entire from A Crombie, Hobart Town to Edinburgh with an account of the sales of 7 bales of printing paper, crowned oval 'HOBART TOWN/VDL/26JU26/1838' on front and various other markings, including '[IN]DIA LETTER/DEAL' and boxed '½'. Several attempts at calculating the postage apparent before settling on "2/8".
