1206  1887 Thursday Island cover to Surbiton (Surrey) England with 4d yellow Second Sidefaces pair tied by almost complete Rays '148' cancel, clearly discernible 'THURSDAY ISLAND/AU25/87/QUEENSLAND' datestamp alongside, Kingston-on-Thames (Surrey) backstamp, some age spotting & small edge blemishes. Possibly the earliest recorded cover with a Rays '148' cancel.
