1403  1946 (Mar 19) registered cover fom Lyon to New Zealand with 55fr Marianne franking paying combined postage (10fr), registration (10fr) and airmail fee (35fr), manuscript "OAT" marking in blue applied in London. Probable route taken described in vendor's typed annotations. [Heifetz records only two manuscript 'OAT' markings for 1946.]

SEEPOST/HAMBURG/NEW YORK/5 9 01/a' transit on face. The illustrations are quite fine and appear to be advising a young man what will happen if he doesn't go down the right path.
