1503  1940 (Oct 2) cover to California endorsed "Air Mail Via Clipper" with 1/- & 3d tied by Longford datestamps paying ½oz airmail rate, censored in Dublin and again in London after the Type I 'OAT' oval handstamp (oval 50x32mm, square stops after letters) had been applied, the likely airmail route thereafter (via Portuguese Guinea) is fully written up with a map of the presumed (winter) route shown.
