1511  1916 (Sep 25) oversized cover (260x202mm) from Melbourne to Sydney, headed 'PHOTOGRAPHS ONLY', franked with KGV 1d red pair for payment of the 8oz printed matter rate, framed 'CLOSE AGAINST/INSPECTION' handstamp in black, 'T' handstamp & "1/6" (mss) tax markings with 1d Postage Due blocks of 6 and 12 affixed and cancelled by pen-strokes. It can be presumed that the contents were not photographs and payment for 5½oz-6oz letter rate should have been 1/8d, thus the 1/6d deficiency. Faults as to be expected for a cover of this size.
