1531 ✉PS 1840 (Sep 10) use of 2d blue Mulready Lettersheet (stereo a92) from Dublin to Belfast. Fine red Maltese cross cancel, also very fine double-oval ''IMPERIAL HOTEL/POST-PAID/DUBLIN' on face, over weight and chamfered box 'MORE/TO/PAY' and mss "2" on face. A bit soiled and tatty, but nice cancellations.

1532  1855 (Jan 13) printed letter announcing departure date of the Royal Mail ship Boomerang to Australia, sent locally with 1d red tied by Liverpool spoon cancel, some staining & part of the flap is missing. A rare survivor. This lot is no longer available
1533  1867 (May 25) cover with embossed Fairlie & Co (Engineers) on the flap, to their representative at No 17 Casse 63/L'Exposition/Paris with GB 1d Plate 81 strip of 4 tied by London duplex of MY25/67, 'ANGL/AMB CALAIS D' TPO transit on the face, two fine to largely very fine 'EXPOSITION UNIVERSELLE/3E|26/MAI/57POSTES' and '2E|27' arrival backstamp, minor blemishes. Enclosed note: "...take care of all your Cases and get the goods well packed...If they are left to the Mercy of the Railway Companies there is no knowing when we may, if ever, receive them here".
